Help me grow!
- I flourish best in bright indirect light, so a windowsill or a shaded balcony is the best spot for me.
- I am happiest when the temperature is between 15-30 degrees celsius. Keep me away from very hot or cold climates.
- I don’t need much water, just about once a week is enough. Waterlogged soil can ruin me.
- I like a little humidity. Mist my leaves occasionally.
- I don’t need much fertiliser- about once a month in summers and once every 6-8 weeks in winters is enough.
FAQs
- Why are my Aglaonema Elegance Plants leaves looking unwell?
Leaf health indicates something is wrong with how you’re keeping me. Droopy leaves mean too much light or too little water. Water me more and move me to the shade. Grey botches mean I’m cold. Remove the affected leaves and move me to a warmer area. Too much direct sunlight can stiffen my leaves. Move me away from the sun, please. - I want to turn my one Aglaonema Elegance Plant into a bunch of plants. How do I propagate them at home?
I am very easy to propagate like all Aglaonema Plants. Cut off a healthy stem at least 6 inches long with a few leaves and leaf nodes. If propagating in water, fill a jar with water so that the leaf nodes (not the leaves) are submerged. If propagating in soil you can plant the cuttings directly into new soil. Once you see new leaves show up, the roots will simultaneously develop too and you’ll have new baby plants.
